Rivalry in various forms have proven over and over again over the course of history to be a great catalyst for innovation and technological progress. With automated vehicles coming just around the corner, initiatives like Indy Autonomous Challenge can foster the development of self-driving solutions performant even in most extreme scenarios. The importance of road safety cannot be overstated, and the ability to control a racecar in a highly dynamic, high-velocity environment translates well into performance of emergency maneuvers in the real world should an unexpected situation be encountered. On top of that, by attracting top players in the field from around the world, IAC makes for a great opportunity for new collaborations and transfer of expertise. We are very excited to be a part of this community.
