We are Team KAIST. Our team consists of Master's and Ph.D. students in KAIST, South Korea. Our lab has been working on autonomous aerial and ground vehicles over last 12 years. We began on the development of self-driving car since 2009. Over the years, we have developed key technologies to build an autonomous car, starting from steering and pedal control, map-based localization, INS/GPS navigations, path planning and deep learning based perception. Now we are working on several types of self-driving technologies including street-legal cars, autonomous trams, and indoor/outdoor delivery carts. Particularly, we have a self-driving car certified by Korean government to operate on public road. We are very excited to participate in Indy 500.
Offering
Our team offers low level car control, navigation, obstacle detection, path planning, deep learning based perception, map generation and localization.
Needs
We have done autonomous driving from the ground up during the last ten years, so we believe we know pretty much about what to do for autonomous driving from low level control.
